A revised throttle system featuring a lighter pull and a variable radius cable reel provides more progressive control at small openings, giving the rider improved precision in low-speed and technical scenarios.

The 450SR now features a sophisticated Traction Control System (same as 450SR S) developed by BOSCH - A key selling feature that isn't common in this segment. This addition reinforces the 450SR's reputation as one of the LAMS category's safest and most confidence-inspiring options.
A redesigned throttle assembly with a shorter stroke has been introduced, enabling quicker action and more responsive control. This improvement ensures an engaging and dynamic connection between the rider and the bike, which is ideal for spirited riding.
GP-SHIFT OR ROAD-SHIFT?
Track day enthusiasts will appreciate the 450SR's ability to change between the standard road-shift pattern and the reverse GP-shift by simply changing the position of the linkage rod. GP-Shift allows for slightly quicker upshifts and slower, more controlled downshifts with improved balance when cornering, especially when needing to shift while at lean on the track.

OPTIMISED AERO
The 450SR's exquisite styling was meticulously perfected through extensive aerodynamic wind tunnel testing, which saw more than twenty design optimisations assessed over thirty hours of aero simulations. GP racing-derived aerodynamic winglets enhance stability by providing 1.6 times downforce at higher speeds.
EQUIPPED
Up front, the 450SR is equipped with inverted front forks. Unlike the conventional front forks found on many competitors, inverted forks are lighter and stronger, offering superior compression and rebound damping, and improved support (hold-up) under hard braking. Handling-wise, steering response and feedback to the rider is enhanced, resulting in less effort and greater confidence. A rising-rate multi-link system (linkage) connects the rear shock instead of being bolted directly (non-link) to the swing arm providing improved bump absorption and greater control.
